Marni Wandner began her career in the music industry at a boutique management company called Smith Management Group, where she worked with Tracy Bonham, Local H, Morningwood, Further Seems Forever and The Fire Theft (members of Sunny Day Real Estate.)
She then spent about two years at Greenwich Music Group, where she was the Director of Marketing and Publicity for Double Blind Music as well as its sister label, System Recordings.
In June of 2006, Marni started Sneak Attack Media, an online marketing company that provides full-service digital consultancy for its clients. Current and past clients include Lou Reed, Duran Duran, Mötley Crüe, Counting Crows, Langhorne Slim, Lykke Li, El Perro Del Mar, Joseph Arthur, Tori Amos, Pop Montreal, Neil Young, R.E.M., Metric, Regina Spektor, Bjork, and more.
