Dear Wim Members and Friends,

Happy, Happy Spring! What a great time for the new fresh approach we're coming up with at WIM. We have plenty of great news for you this month. We are planning terrific new events, forging new partnerships and truly moving forward to bring great value to WIM members. First things first: Mark you calendar today! Sunday, April 17th - 12:00 noon! We are having our first WIM brunch at Cascina, 647 Ninth Avenue (between 45th & 46th Streets), New York City (Telephone: 212.245.4422). We wanted to create an opportunity to really hang out and schmooze, get caught up and spend quality time together, not to mention eat some delicious food! The cost is $20.00 a person. Please make sure you RSVP to our hotline at 212-459-4580 because of course we need a head count for the chef. Jeanne Stahlman has been kind enough to reinstate the mentor program and will offer a free consultation for the first WIM member fast enough to sign up. Mary Grieco, our legal eagle has come up with a great column on trademark issues this month. Check it out. This is critical information for your career and will give you a winning edge. Our dear WIM friends at Two Sides of a Coin Productions are producing an extremely special event on April that we are thrilled to support. Details to follow below. Tell them WIM sent you! In addition, our WIM angels have been coming up with deep discounts for our members with extraordinary vendors and venues including recording studios, cd manufacturers, and leading venues. We are working on packages that will allow you to save gobs on your project from recording to manufacturing and marketing. As you can see, we are really working on providing our members with the education, opportunity and connections that can truly make a difference. Keep coming back, it works if you work it! Chick Singer Night - NJ takes place at Mexicali Blues in Teaneck CSN, now in it's 16th year, is the nation's original and longest-running songfest for female artists. The format is simple... each singer shows up the afternoon of the show, charts in hand and runs her songs with the CSN Band. Later that evening they hit the stage with a hot band in a cool venue and give the performance of a lifetime!
